A vaccination or vaccine function is some sort of substance that is injected into your body to fight off particular pathogens. As seen below in Figure 2 vaccine helps prevent any further or future sicknesses from recurring again by targeting those infected cells
You can become immune in two ways:
Natural immunity refers to the contraction of a particular disease after exposure to a particular organism. Natural immunity helps enrich the effects of a particular pathogen and develops memory T and B cells in the body to work to get rid of the particular disease or its products.
Vacine induced immunity refers to receiving a vaccination injection to fight off the infectious germs for it to have prolonged effect on it coming back again.
